NOTE : the lower the U value of glass the better it is.

* The U value of single clear glass is 5.4

* With ordinary double glazing this is improved to 2.6

* With Low-E glass the U value is reduced to 1.6

All our windows are now fitted with Low-E Pilkington K Glass

Pilkington K Glass™, which usually forms the inner pane of a double glazing unit, allows less heat to escape through your windows than ordinary glass. Thanks to a special energy saving coating which lets the sun's rays through, but reflects heat from fires and radiators back into your home. Heat which ordinary double glazing allows to escape.

NOTE: This Glass also keeps out 99% of rays that fade carpets and furniture

Pvc Tilt/Turn Window

The tilt / turn window is a very useful window as it can be opened like a door inwards or just turn the handle to a different position and the sash tilts from the top inwards

All tilt / turn window are glazed from the inside. This means that the glass can only be taken out from the inside

Impact modified PVC-U
The PVC-U we use in profiles not only has a high impact resistance; it also has a high resistance to chemical corrosion and weathering. Even after years of service, it suffers no deterioration in performance. A close examination of the geographical location of approved Halo fabricators illustrates the extent of the infrastructure and also the extremes that Halo windows are subjected to. Multi-chambered construction
The multi-chambered construction of our profiles with internal webs for additional stability enables drainage while still maintaining a continuous reinforcement chamber. Other benefits include excellent insulation against heat loss and noise.
